Congratulations to CHIJ : St. Nicholas' Girls School on the setting of a new world record for the most number of people running in a 100m relay race over 24 hours, by having 1848 participants, and also for setting the world record for the most longest distance covered by people in 24 hours, two separate events going on at the same time. Also, congratulations on a successful Fiesta that really brought the "Run,Fun and Yum". It was a spectacular day for those who attended(although we do have a few suggestions). I saw the faces of many of the students there and realised the sense of pride they felt today when the accomplishments were achieved. I must say that I do wish SJI would have some events like this, that would help me feel more belonging to the school, to my Alma Mater. But it doesn't seem very likely. Finally, know that I helped in the whole event :) I spent $30 dollars. Kai posted at 6.12 p.m, 29-3-08 Time is passing oh-so slowly. But I still want more of it. More of time is always good. Because with more time, we could be able to do almost anything. "Do you really think she has varied teeth?" As a matter-of-fact, no. I don't think so. Kai posted at 10.47 p.m, 27-3-08. Took a look at the newspaper today, read the article(s) on the girls behaving badly. Who knows why? Makes me kinda sick. Especially the gangs and bullying parts. Kai posted at 10.12 p.m, 22-3-08 I have pretty much never felt so embarrassed in my life, more than at yesterday's campfire. They didn't sing loudly, they didn't cheer loudly, the song leaders didn't even know the damned lyrics and actions. The break dancing item was gotten rid of at the last minute, and our singer pretty much screwed up the next best item. The emcee's did a so-so job, but screwed up a few lines of the script and the songs included. And I'm still drained. Kai posted at 6.30 p.m, 15-3-08 Lesson: How to disprove the theories of mathemathics. Simply state that numbers are merely combinations of line(s), be they curved or straight. Then, don't write anything else. Kai posted at 7.10 p.m, 9-3-08. |
